Machine tool rotary union - 15 000 rpm, 80 bar, 90 °C | GFL/GFLA series
With an anodized aluminum body, Type GFL boasts a special seal design which allows dry running while maintaining seal balance ratio at optimal levels to keep friction at a minimum. Vibration and wobbling are prevented, thanks to the wide spaces between the precision angular contact bearings, which are in turn protected by labyrinth seal and drain holes.Air quality is also improved by this device's ability to reduce coolant misting, even as it prevents leakages during tool changes. It generates very low heat, and also keeps vibration low. It comes with a closing ring, which is useful for proximity sensing drawbar position.
Type GFL is also available for rotation with compressed air, and can be supplied with additional bearings, if needed.
