Olaer Fawcett Christie Olaer ASME accumulators are available for a range of applications such as hydrostatic bearings, machine tool chucking devices, lubrication of oil supplies, safety and emergency braking devices, etc. They can handle working pressure of 207, 276, 345, 420 and 459 bar.

The shell is made of chromium-molybdenum steel. The seamless shell has been designed and made as per ASME VIII Div 1 U stamped. All of Olaer's shells have undergone pressure testing. Optionally available is an extra hydro-pneumatic pressure test on the entire accumulator both with or without any particular inspection authority. Also available upon request is certification for all key pressure loaded parts.

They have a single coat primer finish as standard. Also available are special paints. The bladder has a fully enclosed construction with a broad range of elastomers. For assembly of fluid port, the accumulators include a built in high-flow port and poppet valve assembly along with an anti-extrusion ring.

For safety, it should be noted that each of the gas-loaded accumulator is a pressurised vessel. It is therefore recommended to provide safety consideration to applications which are using them.
