Inductive coupler
THE BALLUFF inductive radial couplers are used for signal and energy transmission without contact. They provide reliable transfer, and guarantee high performance and high speed in very harsh environments. The switching states are sent from eight binary sensors to a stationary part via a recording gap. No maintenance or service is needed, because no mechanical contact is present.
The sensor energy supply is integrated in the construction. The slip rings are superfluous and the whole design is compact, and guarantees no interference to the system.
