The universal cylinder is made to process changing work pieces. The device is built with a support ring and a plug-in disk which enables its installation in the fixture body. It was designed to enable the adjustment of the built-in depth in increments of 10 mm.The cylinder's spring chamber has to be free from coolants or cutting liquids. The entrance of the fluids through the sintered metal air filter must be blocked by the arrangement of the device. Various safety measures can be employed to ensure the protection of the cylinder.
