Pneumatic cylinder / rodless / with adjustable cushions - ø 25 - 50 mm | PU series
This series PU rodless cylinders has a built in strip to provide for longitudinal tightness. It is also made up of polyurethane (PU) and a harmonic steel wire core. This solution provides great air tightness values. It is specifically best used for high-speed and highly cyclical applications, even with long strokes. The external strip provides the necessary protection it needs to avoid foreign bodies to enter. It is built with a harmonic steel. It has an anodised aluminium cylinder liner that is equipped with a T-slot on either side for housing and has the retracting sensors.
It has cylinder control solenoid valves that are able to house the various slots and is tightened using the plates and screws (see General Catalogue page 1-46). Available also are plastic anti-wear guide shoes located on both side of the carriage to provide bigger load capacity. They allow V-slots inside the cylinder liner. Every cylinder has the adjustable pneumatic cushioning. There is a particular version that has hydraulic decelerators + adjustable limit switches. All of this can be purchased in a later stage.
