The closed loop hydraulic brake without inbuilt power source is normally used in ISO 15552 pneumatic cylinder. the setup features an oil-filled cylinder, one or more regulation valves and a tank compensating for oil leaks. The cylinder comes in two versions. Regulation in piston rod extension, in retraction or both and SKIP valve (slow/fast) or STOP valve or both, with NC or NO control.The brake compensation tank requires to be topped up after certain time of operation which can be visually observed on the dipstick marking to minimum level. When the piston rod is fully extended, the dipstick projects at least 15 mm from the tank cap. Only DEXRON ATF hydraulic oil is recommended. During the initial few work cycles, excess oil is ejected from the hole in the tank.
