The launch of SMC's new Series CVQ cylinder and valve range provides a time saving solution to machine builders using a cylinder and solenoid valve for pushing and clamping applications.

Initially planned to enable a unique all-in-one compact cylinder/valve system, SMC simply used the popular CQ2 cylinder and V100 solenoid valve and remade them into a single unit. Through this, the new range is able to provide major space savings as it eliminates space requirements for valve or the necessary piping.

By removing the piping requirements, design can offer added performance benefits like reduced pressure drop and air consumption, plus improved response speed.
