The Strand Jacks from Enerpac is an electric- or diesel-powered jack that is propelled by hydraulic power packs that are made up of steel strands and cables. It is supported by anchor systems with wedges to ensure stability for the cables. Also considered a linear winch, the strand jack is capable of lifting or lowering by keeping the grips engaged in the anchors and stroking the cylinder in and out.
Equipped with an advanced SCC interface technology, the strand jacks are controlled to adjust and synchronize the strands during operation.
Users may choose between two strand models, either the standard 15.7-millimeter strand (maximum load bearing capacity of 110 kilonewtons) or the compact 18-millimeter strand (maximum load bearing capacity of 155 kilonewtons).
