Centrifugal decanter / for sludge dehydration - max. 250 m³/h | OSE series

The Flottweg OSE Decanter provides optimal sludge dewatering of both primary and surplus activated sludge.

In sewer treatment plants the decomposition procedure constantly generates sludge. Ensuring that the decomposition process remains stable during the biological cleaning stage requires removal of the sludge. In further steps this is called surplus activated sludge and this is then moved into a digester.

To optimize the digester space, the surplus sludge needs to be thickened from 0.5 -1% dry solids (5-10 grams per liter) up to 6% to 8% based on pump capacity.

The Flottweg OSE Decanter feeds the digester's continuously and smoothly using solid regulation in the thickened sludge.
