These hydropneumatic roof drives are made to use canopy adjustments and can be operated on an emergency basis. These are connected to air supplies and lift drives while using a support setup for commercial vehicle trailers. These are supported by gas springs but manual hydraulics can also be used.Hoerbiger has designed these units to work for managing all sorts of high-end units and setups. This may work with compressed air supplies for braking setups and can raise canopies by 400 to 500 mm in about 30 seconds. The pneumatic energy of a setup will be converted into hydraulic energy to make it happen. The unit has a single-piston axial pump that is made to where a hand pump that comes with the unit may add hydraulic pressure if compressed air from the vehicle is not available for use.
