Membrane micro-filtration unit for wastewater - 10 - 630 m³/h
SIMEM ITALIA Micro-filtration plants can be constructed by using hollow fiber membranes or spiral wound membranes. In case of special aplications it is possible to use ceramic membranes.

These plants work with low pressure (0.7 - 7 bar) and they are employed for the removal of suspended solids and molecules with a strong molecular weight.

The solution to be treated will be sent to the membrane surface; it will go through the membrane itself and at the same time the suspended solids will be stopped from the membrane surface and later they will be removed by the same flow of the raw solution. In this way the membrane surface will remain clean. The solution that is obtained after the removal of the suspended solids is called "permeate", and the solution which is the result of the removed solids is called "concentrate".

Micro-filtration process:

separate suspended solids from the aqueous solution
permit the passage through the membranes of all suspended solids
the width of membrane pores is 0.1 to 3 micron.

The production capacity of our plants goes from 10 to 630 mc/h.
