Velo Acciai introduces the cross-flow micro-filtration plants with tubular ceramic membranes that prove particularly suitable for tough applications. The tubular channels are designed of variable diameter from 2 to 14 mm to permit the treatment of liquids containing high concentration of suspended solids, high viscosity and an elevated potential for clogging. Ceramic tubular membrane possesses superior mechanical and chemical resistance making it suitable for a wide range of temperatures. The filtering elements are manufactured of different materials to ensure optimal flexibility on applications. The ceramic membranes containing specific mechanical resistance, in certain cases can be subject to a counter-pressure impulse of the permeate flow (back wash) for extension of working cycles between two chemical washing phases.
