Sedimentation tank wastewater treatment - SETL

Sedimentation tank wastewater treatment - SETL
Metso's Mining and Construction Technology The inclined plate settler is the template for the SETL system, in which the clear overflow is returned, while sludge is thickened and then compressed in a tank. The discharge from the sludge is then sent to a centrifuge. Any solids necessary will be transported to a watering module before sending back to the system.

The SETL system by Metso is an advancement in dewatering and compact sedimentation, utilizing Lamella clarification. Using SET's modular system for silt and effluent treatment, it is easier to setup and handle the innovation, ensuring optimum ROI. This system has a capacity of 2000 m3/ hr.

This new system is ideal for numerous effluents from gravel and sand operations, waste and recycling plants, soil and coal operations, wet scrubbers as well as waste water from chemical and metallurgical processes.
