X-ray sorting series CXR separating systems have several interesting features. It extends the optical frequencies of certain other frequencies present in the visible light. It applies various different frequencies for selective camera filters and for lighting. Digital filtration is offered through morphology analysis, geometrical parameters, FFT filtration etc. It also has a highly intelligent system for the purpose of decision making. The principle used, is called ”unconditioned response”. It also offers accurate analysis under the primary features. Complex analysis is done using all available information. It offers advanced rejection control with the help of a separate FPGA based system. It offers an optimal programming platform.

XRF sorting machine / for mineral material - CXR-1000 sorter

The CXR-1000 edition of sorting unit is present in an enclosed circuit at the Comex test center with sorting of various materials as per X-ray transmission XRT. The Sorting process is carried out after practical analysis of the X-ray image and isolated particle geometry. The isolating process is carried out by air-blowing rejection nozzles or by mechanical flaps. The orthodox sorting capacity relies on the particle size and ranges from 20-30 t/h for fine particles under 30 mm, and from 100-250 t/h for grainy particles over 100 mm.
The unit has default utilization in sorting application of coal, iron ore, different metal ores, apatite, fluorite, manganese ore, different metals.

The OSX-1000 optical sorting machine conducts separation of different particles according to their color, shape, texture, pattern and size. The FLAKE PURIFIER C color sorting system is specially developed to sort PET flake and separate different colored PET flake streams into pure color fractions. The series is made with a modular concept in which up to three sensors can be combined. The purifier is also used to perform effective metal separation and contamination detection (e.g. different types of plastics). Product description
The FLAKE PURIFIER N is a contamination separation system, developed to sort PET flakes and used to separate different types of plastics. PET flakes can now be separated from PVC flakes or organic material such as PLA (previously known to lower the quality of the recycling material dramatically or making high quality recycling impossible).

The FLAKE PURIFIER series is based on a modular concept in which up to three sensors can be combined. In addition to contamination detection, the FLAKE PURIFIER can also perform colour separation and metal separation.

CLARITY is the only three-stream system on the market. This important advantage for efficient processes in a slim plant design is combined with the latest cameras and sensor technology.

Today, the third generation of CLARITY is already being deployed. Not only the design, but also the material used is setting the trend. For the first time, all exterior covers are made of fibreglass-reinforced plastic.

Even the inner life of CLARITY is setting new standards. The sorting widths of 1000mm and 1400 mm available up to now have been supplemented by a new design of 700 mm. The result is a process design flexibly adapted to the most differing customer requirements.

COMPACT is CLARITY’s smaller brother. But only it’s dimensions are smaller. Designed in the well-proven modular construction, the system can be fitted into practically all existing plants and is second to none in terms of performance – not even to its bigger brother.

COMPACT has a sorting width of 500 mm as standard and is designed as a two-stream system. Due to this, there are plenty of additional capabilities. The principle of best possible process design oriented to the customer’s requirements has also been pursued here.

COMPACT is confronted with the same demands as CLARITY. Separation of contaminants, sorting on the basis of colour, and detection of heat-resistant special glasses have now been supplemented by searching for cullet with raised lead content.

CRITERION is the system for separating different types of plastic. Also in developing CRITERION, Binder+Co approached the challenge from the view point of the user. The needs of our customers for a compact multi-stream solution led to the conception of CRITERION.

By using a perforated belt conveyor, a belt-sorting system was developed in which the blow-off valves are positioned under the carrying run of the belt and the parts to be discharged are directly blown into blow-off cages arranged above through the belt.

CRITERION is available in the standard sorting widths of 800 mm and 1000 mm. Should higher throughput rates be required, two sensors can be placed next to each other. In this arrangement, sorting widths of 1600 mm and 2000 mm are achieved.

MINEXX is a two-way system for sensor-based sorting of valuable raw materials. It recognises and classifies industrial materials such as quartz, calcite, talcum, limestone, and also ores and salts.

The secret of MINEXX is found in its customised configuration with a lighting system and high-resolution cameras. Minerals differ mainly by their different compositions or material-specific characteristics. Therefore it is Binder+Co's creed to equip MINEXX with the optimum lighting and camera combination for the respective application.

With the help of lighting systems and high-resolution cameras, MINEXX recognises the colour or alternatively the degree of whiteness of the respective minerals, their shapes and textures, or even their material-specific characteristics. Compressed air valves ensure rejection of the stone particles at the right time and place.
