Descender - INDYEVO
The SFE's INDYEVO series manually operated descenders are EN 341 /2A - EN 12841/C standardized and feature a double auto-locking system, that performs locking upon release and pressure of the lever (anti-panic feature). They are also usable for working ropes, offering descent at controlled speed levels, as well as stopping. They can be used as hands-free devices, on a static rope (EN1891) or dynamic rope (EN 892). They are made from stainless steel, but are nevertheless lightweight, compact, and durable due to stainless steel cams. They require minimal maintenance, and are recommendable for continuous use. They can be used for lowering two persons at the same time, offering strength and reliability.
