Neutron detector - max. 600°, 20 bar
PHOTONIS The fission chambers from PHOTONIS are used for in core and it can be operated at 6000c temperature and at external pressure of about 20 bar. The requirements of detection and the type of reactors used would determine the use of these chambers. For reactor monitoring these components are of prime importance. To control immediate, start up and power ranges, burn up of fuel monitoring in the reactor, or in high flux for the thermal neutrons detection these chambers can be used. These detectors are neutrons that are gas filled and are designed so that it can be operated in three different modes. For count of pulses on individual detector or analyzing of pulse mode it is used. To analyze any type of direct current fluctuation that can found in the detector the Campbell or fluctuation mode is used. Another mode which is current mode will be used when there requires a measurement of direct current mean in detector. Appropriate gas would be filled in fission chambers for fat response or for high temperature and they are extremely resistant towards radiation. As per the requirement and type of fission HN connector or a BNC connected would be used.
