Pressure protective cover - STRAPANO
STRAPANO, the innovative protection system from ARNOLD, enjoys all the advantages of a telescopic sheet cover yet completely avoids use of a bellow in its construction.A functional element picks up the movement of the bellow material and transmits a reaction torque to each sheet in the working area. This ensures an optimal seal over the full traverse path. Hot and sharp-edged chips in the work area are reliably stripped off the almost uniform closed surface of the telescopic sheets. In addition, the uniform contact pressure ensures a smooth and quiet operation.
The STRAPANO protection system is made of metal and an inherently stiff plastic (thermoplastic elastomer).
The combination of material and geometry ensures a very long working life. Any extension of the cover can be easily realized due to the modular design and the tool-free assembly of all components.
