The KPI ventilation system by Hitachi is for heat recovery and temperature adjustment. It also adjusts the humidity of incoming air so to match the indoor environment. A fresh indoor air supply is guaranteed. The fan motors are ErP Lot 11 compliant and offer a low noise level of 24bB (A). Features include a ventilation mode, automatic ventilation technology, energy recovery ventilation between extracted air supplies and the supplied energy, and easy access hatches. During summer, cooling load reduction is possible up to 20%. As a result, both running costs and capital costs are minimized. Maintenance is simplified with the hatches, as they allow access to the motor, heat exchanger, electrical box and fans.
