The GEA Niro rotary atomizer administers the atomization of the absorptive fluid into the flue gas, primarily by delivering the absorptive fluid to the atomizer wheel, which rotates at approximately 10.000 rpm. The quick rotating wheel externally dangles the fluid and breaks it into an atomized cloud of remarkably small droplets with an extremely large surface area.
