This recuperative oxidizer is designed for industrial processes which require both effluents oxidation and energy production. The processing plant comes with the effluent transfer fan driven by an inverter, a pre-heater for the outdoor air or VOC, the oxidizer, a system regulation control panel which has the operation interface panel and the PLC, and the heat recovery unit which can transfer the energy into the hot water or air, both in fluid state or as a high termperature-pressurized medium.
The basic operation principle of this machine includes oxidising the pollution particles and converting them into the energy that can be reused or transferred to another process, thus cutting the production costs.
The main advantages of this system include quick start-up, simple management and control system, regulation of the polluting emissions by oxidizing them at high temperature, high energy recovery from the exhaust stream either into the process or outside, and reliability and safety as these devices have passed the full hazard audit. The effluent range available goes from 1000 to 60000 Nm cubic per hour.

The Babcock Wanson UK regenerative oxidizers are well suited for high effluent flow rates and are normally used in applications with no heat recovery requirements, or where the cost of using a recuperative thermal oxidizer would be counter-productive. They use motor driven fans to force VOC laden air through the heating tower, into the oxidation chamber and into the cooling exit tower. This system is composed out of an effluent transfer fan with automatic control system, 2, 3 or 5 ceramic filled heat storage towers based on the application requirements, system of automatic valves for effluent distribution through the towers, combustion chamber with one or more modulating automatic gas/fuel burners and PLC control and operator interface panels.
