This 850 g AC voltage fan has an external rotor motor which is a shaded-pole motor. The impedance protection prevents it from overloading. The impeller and scroll housing are constructed from fiberglass-reinforced plastic, and the housing base from galvanized sheet steel. The air flow has a centrifugal direction and the air outlet is from the housing window. When facing the rotor, the rotational direction is clockwise. It uses 2 single strands AWG 22 for electrical connection.
