The CHERRY KNX series energy harvesting technology wireless system is made out of a generator and receiver, and transfers wireless data via RF domain. If contains a unique ID, minimizing possibility of interference. It can operate in different frequency bands, offering flexibility for different systems. Operation of several receivers with one switch is possible (and vice versa). There is no need for battery replacement, and they have been tested for over 1,000,000 operations, guaranteeing reliability. The receiver can be integrated (in existing ECU) or it can be connected as a separate unit (in housing, as a plug-in receiver PCB). The antenna can also be integrated, or externally connected. They support voltage, current, bus, USB, RS232 and relay output interfaces. A KNX-compatible switch fulfilling KNX-RF 2.0 is available, if requested. The KNX can be used as an energy harvesting generator, rocker switch, snap switch, or light switch module.
