Vacuum contactor - 600 - 1 500 V
Vacuum starters are devices rated up to 600V AC by NEMA and 1,500V AC by special purpose as well as up to 1,500V AC by mining. Each of these is examined and tested to various standards in order to determine whether it can serve its market. Usual application integrates a full voltage control of three-phase squirrel cage engines with primary supervision of wound rotor motors that have low voltage and circuit switching for capacitors. These devices are offered in three different classifications.
