Solid-state contactor - 20 - 90 A | 156-B series
These Bulletin 156-B solid-state modular contractors are made by Rockwell Automation. Their primary function is to be complementary devices for the Bulletin 700 line of solid state relays, a series that provides a vast array of solutions to difficult situations. No moving parts or contacts are used in these contractors, which helps minimize the need for costly maintenance, downtime, or part replacement. These compact device are easy to install and can be mounted on either a panel or a DIN rail. They come complete with a heat sink, zero-cross switching, and a lighted status indicator. Versions of these contractors are offered with analog, DC, and AC control options. Customers also have a choice between dual, single, or three phase contractors. The current rating runs between 20 to 90 A, when the device is in operation. In order to protect the device from surge, an integrated varistor is included.
