This is based off of the LTB standard and works with a material that will lock the circuits as needed and will keep unwanted connections out. The arc provides the energy needed for current interruption, which eases the mechanical stress on the circuit breaker and improves reliability of network. EDI SK circuit breakers use spring drive operating mechanisms. The Type SDF horizontal center break disconnectors are easy to operate, low friction designed instrument that is exceptionally reliable regardless of the environmental conditions. It features dead center interlocking, quick erection, reduced contact resistance and does not require external spring in contact fingers for optimum performance.
