Isolated DC/DC converter / switch-mode / for railway applications
ABSOPULSE Electronics RWY Series of fully encapsulated, railway quality DC/DC converters utilize field-proven technology to generate the required output power. They are available in power levels from 15W to over 500W. Nominal input options include 24V, 36V, 48V, 72V, 96V, or 110Vdc with EN50155 input ranges. Typical outputs include 24V, 36, 48, 72, 96, 110Vdc or custom. The units meet the requirements of EN50155 for electronic equipment used on rolling stock. They also meet the EN55022 Class B EMI and EN50121-3-2 (EMI and EMC) and the IEC 61373 Categories 1 A & B shock and vibration standards. The converters are entirely potted with a thermally conductive MIL-grade silicon rubber compound to ensure immunity to shock, vibration and humidity.
The DC-DC converters are also suitable for other transportation, mining, oilrigs, military and other extreme environments.
