The BMR452 from Ericsson is the third product offering to the company's second generation of digital point-of-load regulators. It can have parallel connections of up to seven 12A devices (equivalent to 84A to the load). With a power input of 4.5 to 14 V and an output of 12A, this device features a digital PWM with advanced paralleling connectivity, delay and ramp-up. Even if running on half load (3.3V), the BMR452 delivers 97.1 percent efficiency. This PMBus read and write compliant series also features a non-linear transient response and a DiPOL connectivity option.
