The very compact and highly dependable fiber-coupled OEM modules of the LDM series meet even the highest expectations for its kind. Its size is comparable to the size of a personal computer as it is a 19-inch rack mounted laser. The device comes with a fiber-coupling unit, stacks of diode, power supply and microprocessors for laser monitoring and control.

The LDM series is considered very economical and compact as a result of retaining the basic functions and forgoing a graphical user interface. Laserline has PC soft wares compatible with the series to aid in controlling the laser through the Ethernet.

The Diode lasers of LDF Series is improved by adding beam converter which is an active fiber that enables the product to do remote welding and laser cutting. It can even do those jobs that require a very small focus diameters for sheet metal and aluminum welding, cladding, hardening and heat-treating. Even it is improved, the principle of modularity is still observed all the time of the operation which makes it easy to adapt the beam source for specific operations. Also, it can accommodate operations with small focuses and corresponding power densities with a maximum focal length of 500 mm.

Laserline's top of the line pump sources were made possible by the well-established and proven diode laser stacks used in material processing applications. However, in order to stand out from the other companies, Laserline enhanced its features in order to provide the world class quality pump sources. Laserline's wavelength stabilization feature addresses the shift in wavelength which results from a change in output power. This shift wavelength means higher efficiency and stable absorption characteristics. Aside from this, Laserline also provides special wavelengths from 790nm to 15xx nm instead of the usual 9xx nm range.
