Gradient index multi-mode optical fiber - 850, 1300 nm | OptiGrade series

OptiGrade is the 50/125 multimode fiber series that has been enhanced for high-speed network protocols and high-speed data transmission. The standard compliant OM3, OM4 and OM2+ fibers have all been optimized for 10Gb/s Ethernet data transmission with 850nm.

When it comes to bandwidth, OptiGrade offers superior performance that allows for the building of low cost LAN and SAN systems that still offer users high performance. They maintain low-cost high-speed connections for IT networks running short distances with a 10Gb/s serial transmission rate over distances of up to 200m in the OM2 class and up to 500m in the OM3 class.

OptiGrade fibers of the compliant OM4 class support a standard link length of 550m.
