Medium power transformer - 40 - 250 MVA
These medium power transformers have a power range between 40 and 250 MVA and has a voltage rating of over 72.5 kV. These are usually used as generator and network step-up transformers. Medium power transformers also serve to step up power from offshore- and on- windparks and can even be installed in offshore-substation.It has a transformer design that meets the IEC/ANSI standards with or without voltage regulation. It can be 1-phase or 3-phase. Its radiators may be tank attached or as a separate radiator bank.
