X-ray source X-ray tube - 100 - 225 kV
YXLON provides a broad range of metal-ceramic X-ray tubes. Unipolar X-ray tubes are within the voltage classes of 100 kV - 225 kV, and they are optimized to examine poorly absorbent materials like plastics, aluminum, or thin-walled steel parts. The X-ray tubes in the 320 kV, 450 kV and 600 kV voltage classes are used at the time of the examination of dense materials, solid components and when computed tomography is being conducted. The Y.TU600-D01 X-ray tube with a maximum voltage of 600 kV, are suited for scanning mainly solid components. When the Y.TU600-D01 is combined with the YXLON line detector, it is the the best X-ray tube for CT.
