Bandpass FIlters
Filters are normally applied in between the transmitter output and the antenna to suppress any spurious emissions. For analogue “combined” transmitters the filters are used to suppress the mixed products of the video and audio carriers. In case of DTV transmitters they are needed to ensure certain mask specifications.
