The Freescale's Xtrinsic MM912_637 battery sensors are completely incorporated battery monitoring tools. Furthermore, these tools enable concurrent gauging of the current and voltage of the battery for accurate distinction of State of Charge (SOC), State of Health (SOH), and other parameters. To continue, the incorporated temperature sensors together with the closeness to the battery enables the gauging of the battery temperature. Several hardware blocks that are application specific eliminates MCE overhead and similar consumption of power. Low-power modes with automatic battery status monitoring and innovative wake-up feature lessens current consumption even more.
