The MELEXIS MLX81200 series sensorless 3 phase motor controllers are mainly used for automotive applications, for 12 V. They feature a 16-bit flash micro-controller, with high voltage analog periphery for BLDC motor driving. They are very small, and are therefore perfect for integration in various systems.They utilize the TruSense technology, which represents a combination of reluctance measurements with BEMF sensing, yielding highly precise rotor position info, in a wide range with changing loads of significance. This enables sensorless control over operations with unknown torque, such as transmission oil pumps. The PWM driving scheme can be altered to match different motor currents, offering compatibility, efficiency, low torque ripple and minimized conducted and radiated emissions.
