The innovative POWER CAGE CLAMP are high-current terminal blocks that connect conductors quickly and easily with cross-sections up to 185 mm2 using spring pressure connection technology making it vibration-proof and maintenance-free. It makes the connection possible without the need for complicated bolts or clamping yokes, making cabling more time and cost efficient. It guarantees consistent, low maintenance, optimal and gas-tight joint thanks to the high contact forces in action. The new 285 series is a perfect choice for main connections with high current as its maximum rated current is 353A and AC/DC up to 1000V and DC up to 1500V.

In order to increase tolerances for automated and manual wiring, a new variant was added to the successful and proven 2060 Series. The housing of the new SMD PCB terminal block is one mm longer, making it particularly robust. This extension also has given the new blocks increased on-board stability when the integrated push-buttons are actuated. Thanks to identical dimensions of the solder pad, an existing 2060 Series unit can be simply replaced with the new variant if components, such as lenses or covers, are not positioned one mm behind the housing. While the housing is new, the 2060s well-established benefits remain: Solid conductors can be inserted directly, and the convenient push-buttons simplify the connection and removal of all conductor types.

The Miniature Rail Mounted Terminal Blocks by WAGO for space limited applications are made with proven CAGE CLAMP technology. These blocks are vibration proof and simply handled. With through ground conductor technology, these terminal blocks are suitable for conductor sizes between 0.08 and 2.5mm2.

They can also be marked using miniature the WSB quick marking system. Tap-off modules are available for testing applications.

The spring technology is particularely adapted for severe environment conditions such as vibration, chocks (presses, looms, etc...). Further more, the front access and the wiring ergonomy of the blocks are bringing much more flexibility of wiring in many situations where accessibility is difficult.

The ABB Entrelec range is particuliarely extensive and can meet all type of applications. A large number of functions is available from standard feed-through blocks to sensos-actuators, switch and fuse blocks.
The jumpering system offers much flexibility of use with 2 jumper locations on the blocks (possibility to make alternate, successive jumpering or to jumper two blocks of different size), and offers the same performances in terms of vibration than the spring connection. This jumper is then combining safety of use and fast mounting. A test point is available on most blocks for a quick and easy test of the wiring.
