DIAMOND OLID pigtails and patchords offer a special FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating) technology ideal for a long-lasting union into fiber optic PEP channels. They can be setup as per your convenience including the main workplace or in the OTO (Optical Termination Outlet). The OLID structures enable Optical Line Identification which has an FBG code precisely written into the fiber without intruding with the general P2P telecom wavelengths. This technology can detect every fiber line and arrange the OLID data using the information used by the system operator and can also be reversely displayed with the Diamond OLID examiner.
Post its setup, a welcome trial is conducted for ensuring if all system units are attached precisely whereas the OLID structure ensures instant identification of system outages.
