The SPOX™ Wire-to-Board Connectors are the new products that offer multiple points of contact, protect the mating interface area, and prevents fish-hooking from wires during handling. It can be utilized in industrial production. The name Spox came from the shape of the terminal, which is like a "spring box". It also provides a wide variety of mating configurations for pitch sizes from 2.50 to 5.08mm pitch. It features 2.50mm Mini-Spox family includes both crimp and IDT housings including both wire-to-board and wire-to-wire configurations. The 3.96mm Spox and 5.00/5.08mm Macro-Spox families contain unshrouded and somewhat shrouded headers, along with board-to-board options.
