Serial attached SCSI connector
The SAS and SATA interconnect are designed for personal computers and storage applications. The SAS conductor has a receptacle configuration of SAS back plane and hybrid while the SATA conductor has a receptacle configuration of 2P + 7P + 7P Micro SATA. They both have a single number of rows with PCB mounting orientation.
