NTC thermistor - -55 °C ... +155 °C
EPHY-MESS GmbH NTC thermistors are primarily used for monitoring resistance changes over a wide temperature range. The Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) is about -2% to -6% per Kelvin, and about 10 times larger than metals. They are comprised of oxides and doping supplements that are processed into a powder mass. Binding agents are then added, and sintered at high temperature. After that, the ceramic elements are now contracted with the metal. On the other hand, tolerance in the base resistance value and the curve slope must be considered in order to achieve correct temperature measurement. These temperature dependent semi-conductor resistors are manufactured according to DIN 44010 or IEC 60593.
