The Rota-Sonde DC2000 was developed by DELTA, and is a scanning sensor which was built to sense infrared radiation emitted by hot materials. It was built with an optoelectronic case. The product's case also has a protecting hood of the viewing port, and has a cooling plate with an adjustable mounting stand.
There is an easy alignment of the sensor, and it also assures detection regardless of its position. The design was made to withstand the harsh environment of the steel industry, which often involves vibrations, heat, vapour, and dust.
