In the models with a direct mountable design, the sheath and terminal are connected with the help of a Conax developed "soft seal" sealing gland or a W8 fitting. There are several different sealant materials and sizes to choose from with the gland models to ensure excellent functionality in a number of environments. T4 termination is flexible and resistant to abrasion due to its stainless steel overbraid that is embedded in the epoxy-filled material for providing great mechanical strength.
