In the models with a direct mountable design, the sheath and terminal are connected with the help of a Conax developed "soft seal" sealing gland or a W8 fitting. RTD Assemblies with T3/T4 Leadwire Termination is an exclusive and innovative product by Conax Technologies for providing a consistent and an unbreakable connection for binding the probe lead and the leadwire.

This equipment is filled of T3 epoxy and comes equipped with 24 AWG stranded silver-plated copper Teflon-insulated wire. There is also an elaborate layer of Teflon coating all over along with fiberglass insulation impregnated with Silicone.

T4 termination is flexible and resistant to abrasion due to its stainless steel overbraid that is embedded in the epoxy-filled material for providing great mechanical strength.
