Ultrasonic distance sensor - 37 - 43 mm | UM18 series
The UM18-2 Pro ultrasonic sensor ensures reliable measurements independent of material color, transparency, gloss and ambient light. The sensor comes in four ranges up to 1,300 mm and features a short M18 metal housing with a 41 mm length. The sensor comes in straight or right-angle versions, analog voltage, analog current or push-pull (PNP/NPN in one) switching output available with IO-Link. Sensor can be setup using IO-Link and/or teach-in via multi-function input. Tough construction resists dirt, dust, humidity and fog. The sensor comes in up to 1,300 mm ranges and offers several options for flexible use. The short M18 housing enables easy machine integration and is available in straight or right-angle versions. The intelligent measurement filters ensures reliable measurement results for highest process stability. The integrated temperature compensation ensures round the clock high measurement accuracy ensuring best process quality. The solid one-piece metal housing secures highest machine availability. Synchronization or multiplexing enables usage of up-to 10 sensors for an enhanced application flexibility and process stability.
