Combined direction speed sensor
The speed and direction sensors by Honeywell respond to the interruption or presence of a magnetic through production of an output which is proportional to the strength of the magnetic field. With the housing material as plastic or aluminium and the availability in types of unipolar, bipolar and bipolar latch, the Hall effect digital position sensors deliver contact free measurement without any moving parts. Directly compatible with other electronic circuits, these high speed and long life reliable sensors are fully packaged and ready for installation. They are best suited for applications such as wheel speed systems, RPM indication, chassis control, speedometer input, engine timing, transmission input/output and traction control.
