The gimatic SC3N203Y is a magnetic sensor that adjusts its status with the magnetic field. It is used widely as propinquity end-stroke on the pneumatic cylinders that has a piston that holds a magnet. It is possible to acquire information comparative to the position of the piston by fastening the sensor at the external part of the housing of the cylinder. The sensor uses at or voltage output or an electrical contact that depends from the type of sensor that can be adjusted by a REED switch or a static (magneto resistive chip).
