Hall effect proximity sensor / miniature
The miniature position sensors from Honeywell react to magnetic field presence or disturbance by creating analog or digital output proportional to the strength of the magnetic field. They come in various magnetic actuation types like unipolar, omnipolar, bipolar latch, bipolar, analog and ratiometric. They have double and single sensing tools for IC chip mounting. Surface mount and radial lead IC are the termination types. Some models come with reel and tape. They are ideal for motor and fan control brushless DC motor commutation, speed and RPM sensing, tape rotation, disc speed, tachometer, counter pickup, flow rate sensing and magnetic encoding.
