The U-5100 UV-Visible Spectrophotometeris fitted with a Xenon flash lamp, which improves the longevity of the lamp, while eradicating the need for consistent lamp replacements which were evident in other versions. Power consumption is reduced by over 70% compared to its pedigree thanks to the ability of the U-5100 to emit pulses only at the time of measurement. With the help of a high-speed scanning (12,000nm/min) and a automatic 6 cell turret for the switching of 6 cells automatically, the U-5100 provides decreased measurement time.
