The XL2 stores all reports and log files in plain text format, which can be opened with any text editing application (Notepad, Wordpad, etc). Furthermore a series of free MS Excel application templates provide a convenient way to view the measurement results of specific tasks and create simple reports. The optional XL2 Data Explorer software offers comprehensive analysis tools for logged noise monitoring data. The flexible user interface may be configured for the demands of advanced and basic users. Advanced users may access all menus, settings and store their preferred measurement configurations. Basic users choose from a set of preconfigured profiles at the start up with fixed instrument settings according the application requirements. This ensures accurate measurements in any situation.
