The Wilcoxon Research model F7-1 is ideally designed to provide an excellent quality performance and functionality for very specific purposes. It is a portable piezoelectric unit mainly constructed to provide a sonic and ultrasonic excitation to support the structural testing requirements which is common to weapons, satellite components, mechanical impedance studies and high-frequency vibration monitoring. It is considered as a reaction mass shaker unit also built to produce a force with its attachment point located at the face of the shaker where it is attached to the device. The device has the ability to operate by exciting several elements attached unto the shaker head and reaction mass. The system produces a small displacement which changes between the mass and head which results in the production of forces unto the structure.
