The CR-5 bench-top colorimeter is utilized to measure the color of solid, liquid and pasty granular samples either in transmittance or reflectance. The extremely versatile device can measure almost any type of sample due to its top-port concept which offers various aperture sizes. This all-rounder laboratory instrument is ideal for applications such as foods, chemicals, flavors and fragrances, plastics and pharmaceuticals.The CR-5 is a stand alone device which features a large color screen and extensive firmware. These provide all major colorimetric systems which include industry specific indices to measure transparent liquids, such as Iodine, Hazen/APHA, Gardner, European and US Pharmacopoeia.
