The Thermo Scientific HAAKE CaBER is a rheometer that will review many industrial procedures and applications including extrusion flows, contraction flows and fiber spinning flows. The materials that work with a shearing flow can also be inspected to see if their extensional flows match up.
The design is made to keep more controls ready for use. The break-ups and thinning processes in fluids will be studied as well as other physical properties to make the device more functional than a traditional rheometer.
